There are a number of manufacturers who are producing “RO membranes” on commercial or industrial scale. We produce various types of membrane to suite defined specific requirements under defined specific conditions. The industrial RO system designer has to select the most suitable type of membrane for the specific job in hand. TDS of the raw water, general quality of the raw water, permitted operating pressures, permitted flow rates across the membranes, recovery rates, operating temperatures, plant designed capacity and required permeate quality are some of the more common factors contributing to the selection.
