Ultrafiltration (UF) HM4040-5 is a separation process using membranes with pore sizes in the range of 0.1 to 0.001 micron. The Burton series of UF membranes is a hollow-fiber inside-out membrane capable of removing high molecular-weight substances, colloidal materials, and organic and inorganic polymeric molecules. Burton UF membrane is made of PAN alloy, which has high hydrophilicity ensuring excellent cleanability.
